William A. Remo. Jr. of Allentown was installed potentate of the 3,800-member Reading Rajah Shriners for 2012. Born in Allentown, he is a graduate of Fountain Hill High School and served in the Marine Corps from 1962 to 1966. Following his service in the Marines, he was employed at Bell of Pennsylvania as a splicer's helper, retiring from Verizon Inc. in 2002 as an outside plant engineer.
